New Training Centre in Mohill
Building work on the new centre in Mohill is currently progressing well.
The pictures below illustrate how progress is moving. It is located in
a highly visible site in Mohill. It will be full accessible and an exemplar
of good practice for all people with Disabilities.
When completed this centre will provide the following:
- Offices of LAPWD will be based in the building.
- Drop in Centre where advocacy service will be available.
- Training under the Philosophy of Independent Living will be provided for our members.
- We will also be looking at providing Social and Recreational activities.
- Training and mentor support in sourcing employment for people with disabilities will be provided.
- Space will be provided to examine self –employment and enterprise opportunities.
- Offices will be available for rent.
