7. LEITRIM C.I.L. IN PLACE 14TH OCTOBER 1996

The FAS C.E. Scheme commenced with twelve employees as P.A.'s to people with disabilities and four other people with disabilities in administrative positions.

L.A.P.W.D. activity over October and November was centred on the development of the Centre for Independent Living (C.I.L.) and all other business was put on hold temporarily.
